About

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I currently work at BT, where I’m doing a year long placement between my second and third years of university. Next summer, I’ll be heading back to the University of Nottingham to finish a Computer Science degree.

Although my degree is a technical one, my primary interests are usability and human computer interaction. I’m interested in design; how it affects our lives and how we can use it to better understand and interact with the world around us. I’m also curious about the field of productivity and how we can optimise the way we handle everyday tasks in a society that seems to demand more of us each day.

I own the volunteer-run videogames website Thunderbolt, which has been more successful than I could ever imagine. I’m also involved with the University of Nottingham Students’ Union magazine, Impact, which I have co-designed and whose website I run. Outside of computing, I enjoy photography, travel, volunteering and reading.
